Hello, please read and post only if you have something productive to say.

First of all let me make clear that I played GW1 around 5 years and GW2 since launch.

Finally got my legendary weapon in GW2 unfortunately I got bored and went back to play GW1.

It is sad to see such a good game with so few people.

Reasons why GW1 should be F2P:

• It is a very old game
• Gold Sellers are not interested in a game with such a low community.
• Nobody is buying GW1 now. Why? because its an old game, if you use a Free Trial you will see dead zones and if some ask on forums, reddit they say there only few guilds that can help you.
• Even F2P would not get the best results by being a game with nearly 10 years, so it would be nice to take the risk.
• Feel free to add any comments

Advantages

• More people to play with questing, quest, etc.
• Economy reactivated, this will open the market to new players
• PVP Reactivated "No more henchmen or Heroes"
• New clans, alliances
• Finally, do not let this game close in the coming years: S

Free to play? Absolutely not!

Having played a few of those F2P games, I see a common thread where the people who play them have no fears or worries about cheating/hacking and being completely ignorant to others. The fear of losing your account is gone because you can just make a new one at no cost to yourself. Then comes restructuring the game by adding paid content. GW has some of it now but it would only get worse. I prefer quality over quantity and if a person really want to play the game then they'll buy it.

I understand you point of view, but dont you think the game in couple years will be a single player? Anet pay for servers if there is no income they shut it down..

Game is too old now, I dont like F2P either but maybe its time now
